The first of three, yes 3, exclusive Octave releases for TyndrumWhisky, a Bunnahabhain Staoisha coming from a 70L Octave by the wizards of the Octave – Duncan Taylor. Flavoursome salted caramel and warm spice accompany this lovely winter whisky!
This Bunnahabhain release has been bottled exclusively for TyndrumWhisky and is the first of three octave releases coming over the next 8 weeks. Staoisha is the name that many indie bottlers give to Peated Bunnahabhain.

Distilled back in 2014, and bottled 2020.
Finished for 3 months in a Sherry Octave cask (confirmed – 70L cask), which has invigorated the spirit even more!

Tasting notes:
Before Octave: Butterscotch, green apples, cigar ash, nutty, hint of salt.
After Octave: Earthy, charcoal smoke, dark chocolate, salt caramel. warm spice.
