The second release in Torabhaig’s Legacy Series is a robustly peated single malt with a deceptively refined character. This characterful maritime whisky was drawn from a small batch of casks that were filled in 2017 and 2018.

Torabhaig is a new distillery that blends traditional and contemporary approaches. The first distillery to be built on Skye in 190 years, it is only the second legal distillery ever to operate on the island and has been fully operational since January 2017. They distil in beautiful copper stills as you would expect, but they chose to ferment in traditional wooden washbacks that add complexity of flavour in the Whisky.
