John Walker sold his first Old Highland Whisky in a Kilmarnock grocery in the 1820s. A skilled blender with a keen entrepreneurial spirit, Mr Walker’s name would soon become known in every corner of the earth. As the reputation of the whisky, signified by its striding man logo, grew through the decades, that famous square bottle became synonymous with quality.
