This is the very first limited edition for Mac-Talla reinforcing the ambition to show the diversity of this iconic island through a series of specially selected cask types and maturation styles. It was fully matured in French oak casks from the Bordeaux region in France, these 24 hand-selected barriques were previously home to prestigious wines, marrying Islay’s untamed smoky nature with the refined fruitiness and opulence of Bordeaux wines.
