Littlemill 1976 at The Whisky Exchange – Scotch Whisky News

The oldest-ever bottling from what was Scotland’s first and oldest licensed distillery, Testament 1976 was bottled in December 2020 after more than four decades’ maturation in a mix of casks including American-oak hogsheads and ex-oloroso sherry casks.

This incredibly special release – limited to just 250 bottles – is a feast of green apple flavours, floral aromas, sharp citrus and juicy, tropical-fruit notes. Littlemill Testament 1976 is as much a treat for the senses as it is a stunning collection piece.

Be sure to check out some of the other fantastic new whiskies from the last couple of weeks, too, including a spread of special bottles from some well-loved independent bottlers.
