DAMIEN DEMPSEY AND THUMPER TO HEADLINE SLANE IRISH WHISKEY’S ST PATRICK’S DAY SESSION
Broadcasting from Slane Distillery, Co. Meath, Slane Irish Whiskey is leading this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with an online gig from Dublin born musician Damien Dempsey and Irish rock band THUMPER.
A night of progressive sound, Slane Sessions takes place ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, kicking off at 8pm GMT / 3pm EST / 12pm PST on Saturday 13 March. The world premiere will air on the Hot Press YouTube channel and with some of the best of Irish music broadcast to the world from one of Ireland’s most exceptional distilleries.
Slane Castle has played a vital part in rock music history. From rock royalty to actual royalty, they have welcomed many famous faces to their iconic home over the centuries and now they are streaming their first concert from Slane Irish Whiskey Distillery.
From the comforts of your own home, people will be able to raise a glass and enjoy the music on St. Patrick’s Day with a range of special Slane Irish Whiskey cocktails, available for delivery from bars across the UK, including Nauticus in Edinburgh, The Cavendish in London, and The Brotherhood Manchester while stocks last.

Through this collaboration with two of Irish music’s modern giants, The Slane Sessions celebrates the meeting of tradition and innovation – guaranteeing a night full of life and bold sound in celebration of Ireland’s national day and of course, our whiskey”.
Slane has also created short videos of simple serves using Slane Irish Whiskey, inviting people to create their own little piece of St Patrick’s day at home in a cocktail.
